Low-E Protect WR is the only commercially available temporary protective coating that protects your to-be-tempered or annealed coated glass from the time of coating deposition to the moment it enters the glass washer.

It provides excellent protection against aging/corrosion and is highly effective against mechanical damage from abrasion and surface scratches during transportation and processing.

Requires the use of powder separation between sheets.

Low-E Protect WR is similar in thickness to protective films.  A thinner tpc layer than what is currently available in the market means have less protective material to edge delete.  The cutting pressure is increased a small amount or a sharper wheel used.  No special equipment required.

​​Low-E Protect WR washes away under standard Low-E removal conditions in glass washers.  The materials re-disperse back into the water.  Use requires a specific water turnover or refresh to keep concentration low and non-impactful.
